YouTube has just announced a series of new features to enhance the user experience during playback on mobile devices.

Among the new features available on YouTube, there is an improvement in the playback speed adjustment of videos, with a new type of touch shortcut, highlighted like and subscribe buttons, as well as a music search facilitator.
There are also improvements for rewinding or fast-forwarding a video using the scroll bar, and the introduction of “stable volume” that can be activated in playback settings and helps reduce sudden volume changes in a video.
Additionally, YouTube has also announced ‘screen lock‘ to prevent accidental touches during video playback. The Google platform has been focusing its efforts on enhancing the playback and search experience.
